Prohibited Items Policy
Draft — pending legal review. This policy governs Site Store, a feature currently available in test mode only while its underlying Stripe Connect liability model completes legal review. This page is not yet final and should not be relied on as legal advice.
This Prohibited Items Policy governs what Customer may sell through the Site Store feature and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
Prohibited items
The following may not be sold through a Site Store:
- Illegal goods or services under applicable U.S. federal, state, or local law;
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping/e-cigarette products, and cannabis or CBD products;
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons of any kind;
- Prescription drugs, controlled substances, or medical devices requiring regulatory clearance;
- Hazardous, flammable, or radioactive materials;
- Counterfeit goods, or any item infringing another party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights;
- Live animals;
- Adult content or sexually explicit material;
- Items marketed toward or targeting minors in a manner inconsistent with applicable law; and
- Any item prohibited under Stripe's own Restricted Businesses list, as updated from time to time.
Enforcement
We may remove a listing or suspend a Customer's Site Store at our discretion, without liability to Customer, if we reasonably believe this policy has been violated. This is in addition to, and does not limit, the enforcement rights described in the Terms of Service.
