Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy governs Site Content and account activity on etweb.dev and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
Prohibited Site Content
Customer's Site Content may not include:
- Anything illegal under applicable U.S. federal or Pennsylvania law;
- Malware, phishing pages, credential-harvesting forms, or other content designed to compromise a visitor's device or accounts;
- Content that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights;
- Sexually explicit content involving minors, in any form — this is never permitted under any circumstances, and any account found hosting such content will be immediately disabled and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and/or law enforcement as required by law;
- Unlicensed gambling, unregistered securities offerings, or sale of controlled substances;
- Deceptive or fraudulent commercial practices, including fake reviews or testimonials and pyramid or Ponzi schemes; and
- Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging sent using etweb.dev infrastructure (including transactional email features).
Prohibited account and technical activity
Customer may not, and may not permit any third party to:
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent resource limits, rate limits, or Site tier restrictions;
- Scan, probe, or attack another customer's Site or etweb.dev's own infrastructure;
- Resell or sublicense etweb.dev hosting Services without our prior written authorization;
- Share account credentials for the purpose of bypassing per-account billing; or
- Engage in any activity that materially degrades Service availability for other customers on shared infrastructure.
Enforcement
As described in the Terms of Service's "Content, Templates & Site Setup" section, we may remove or reject non-compliant Site Content, and may suspend or disable the associated account for a violation of this policy, up to and including immediate and permanent disablement for serious violations (such as the minor-safety violation above).
